be the change…

GARD is a grassroots non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering clean water access and education initiatives in developing countries. We firmly believe in the collaborative approach of involving communities, recognizing it as essential to the success of our programs.

Community engagement lies at the heart of our projects, providing a sense of ownership, offering valuable skills training, and expanding knowledge among participants. This collaborative model ensures the sustainability of our endeavors, laying the foundation for enduring impact.

Furthermore, our commitment to community empowerment extends to vocational education, such as establishing sewing schools. These initiatives not only equip individuals with practical skills but also empower them to pursue economic opportunities and contribute to their communities' growth.

Since 2005, GARD has been actively engaged in Uganda, and our dedication to this cause remains steadfast.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Rotary Clubs in Canada and Uganda, Canadian companies, as well as friends and family, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in driving our mission forward.
